Tarantella
Synopsis

Tarantella is a traditional folk dance from southern Italy. According to legend, the venomous bite of a tarantula (spider) triggers the dance, which serves as a form of therapy to expel the poison from the body. In her choreography, Eva Borrmann abstracts the folk dance, creating a surreal, trance-like scenario that, with its constant suspense, evokes the atmosphere of a horror film.
